I have been searching for an apartment throughout the Gold Coast area and I must say, Planned Property Management has been such a blessing to find. I went to their 55 W. Chestnut location and they were beyond helpful. Their leasing agent Laura is the BEST I have ever come across. Her knowledge about the area was just superb and her presentation was awesome. The building looked beautiful and the prices are very good for the area. I have a jaw dropping view of the most amazing city in the world :-) The gym looked like it had all you would need to get or remain in shape. The sundeck looked like it would be nice in the summertime. The business center looked up to date. The laundry room is such a huge + in my book because I hate traveling to do laundry. My favorite feature was the party room. The room was stylish and huge and looked like it could hold a nice amount of people. From the doormen to the maintenance staff,  the building looked great and well kept. I recommend all in the area looking for an apartment to stop by this location. You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I moved into the 55 W. Chestnut building last summer, before Planned Property Management took over. Anytime a building changes management it can be a tough transition, but Laura and Danny in the management office have made it seamless. Planned Property Management is really invested in its resident's happiness and satisfaction.  This is demonstrated by the events the building puts on as well as their prompt response to maintenance issues. The building is cleaned top to bottom daily and our friends are always welcomed and impressed when they visit. We held an event in the party room recently and Laura helped us coordinate the reservation while Jack was so helpful in directing our guests to the right place. Everyone was extremely impressed with the room and wants to come back soon! We love our building and neighborhood.

55 W. Chestnut is such a great place to live.  I'd first like to say Laura is amazing. This location seems to be the center of all the action. The party room is terrific for all occasions and I've enjoyed the outside area more times than I can count. Most of the residents are committed to their community by choosing a green energy supplier. This makes me happy to see a group of people who care so much about our collective future. A true and a great place to be!

I lived at 55 West Chestnut for a year and then moved up the street into a different building. I must say that the staff there makes you feel at home and they're good people at heart. After I moved, I felt like I was extra spoiled at 55 West Chestnut because the staff at my new building didn't even come close. They were always there to help you. Laura was our leasing agent and she was also excellent to work with. Guided us through the process perfectly and was flexible and thoroug . I would recommend 55 West Chestnut 100%.

I lived at 55 W Chestnut for a couple of years, and it was one of my most comfortable experiences in Chicago. The staff was really nice and prompt, maintenance was great, and the view of my apartment was the best I’ve ever had! I could see an open downtown view (because of the parking lots in-front of you gives you a breather to see the city), and the views from the bay windows were nice as well. I have to emphasize that it also was one of the best-priced options I lived in, for what I was getting. I would totally recommend the building for anyone looking to live downtown!

The building is perfectly located. Laura, the building manager, is very helpful and so is the entire staff. The building is well maintained. I haven't had any problems with the neighbors. There is an underground parking garage for which you can pay separately if you want to use a parking spot. Overall, I would recommend the building for anyone searching for a good place with reasonable rent and walking distance from the River North and Gold Coast restaurants, bars, and shops.

I have lived at this property for over 4 years.  PPM is now managing this property.  They have done an AMAZING job.  The building is secure, the common areas are extremely clean and the staff is beyond stellar!!!  Laura and Danny in the management office, as well as Jack the security man, are professional, friendly and helpful.  Dan the party coordinator and Kelly in leasing are super friendly and personable.  Any maintenance requests I have had were handled ASAP and efficiently.  The building is quiet and in my opinion, in the best location.  I would recommend this property as well as PPM being the new owners in charge.

I stayed at this location for two years, and would still be there now if not for a job change. The staff was excellent!  Friendly, inviting and made a point to know your needs. Facilities are well kept and it's a great location!

I went to a Holiday party in their party room. Employees were very welcoming and made everyone comfortable!   The building is conveniently located near a grocery store, shopping and public transportation.
