The Kerryman Chicago

Living in the Gold Coast and River North is awe-inspiring. You find the nightlife, the bars, and some of Chicago’s best restaurants there. Here at PPM we have not one, but six unique buildings, all within Chicago’s Gold Coast, which makes living in one of these great locations that much closer to the fun.

Maybe you just got back from taking your dog out at 1000 N. LaSalle’s Dog Park and you’re in the mood for some food. Or maybe you just fancy a drink to watch the big game. No matter what your intent, if you’re in the Gold Coast or River North and looking for a new place to try, then we have the perfect spot your taste buds will thank you for.

The Kerryman, located at 661 North Clark Street in Chicago, is the place! Not only are the food and drinks here tasty and fresh, but The Kerryman has loads of history. Its location was once a notorious gangster hangout spot known as the McGovern Saloon, where the young Dion O’Banion, a famous mobster, got his start. It was also the home of the original Chicago punk clubs in 1978. However, now the Kerryman is known as one of Chicago’s liveliest and exciting Irish bars, bringing that little piece of Ireland to our prodigious city. It’s a great place for lunch, dinner, and, of course, the perfect stop for after hours. Not to mention in the summer they have an amazing outdoor patio.

Enough with the history PPM, we want to hear about the food. OK, OK, let’s get started!

Irishman’s Quesadilla

Irish bacon, cheddar, baby spinach, sour cream, salsa verde, and guacamole. Who would have thought Irish and Mexican mixed so well!

Claddagh Wings

Hot tangy sauce, bleu, and ranch. The perfect mix for a zesty app!

Curry Chips

Shepherd’s Pie

Ground beef, vegetables, beef gravy, mashed potato, three cheeses, and panko. This is the essential in Irish cuisine!

Portabella Flank

Guinness and balsamic, marinated mushroom, chimichum, sweet potato fries, and citrus clanto. If you love mushrooms, this is a no-brainer!
